Weight Watchers

I started Weight Watchers.

By no means am I really over weight.  I am just not where I want to be.  I have about 7-10 more pounds to go before my wedding in 3 months and to reach my goal weight.

I needed some extra help.

I watch what I eat, I exercise about 3 times per week - running, lifting, elliptical work...but I wasn't seeing the results I wanted over the past few months.  I think it is in the food I eat.

I like food - hamburgers, pizza, quesadillas, chocolate...and I needed a system to help keep me accountable for what I eat, while still enjoying the things I love to eat.

I've heard a lot of people have great success with weight watchers so I thought I would give it a try!

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

So far the working out is working -- legs are starting to get muscle shape back, arms are beginning to gain muscle (I've NEVER had muscular arms...EVER!).

This journey definitely took longer than I wanted it to, and its something I've struggled with lately...which is not normally a struggle for me.

NO MORE BRACES!

I realized I got my braces off about 2 weeks ago and I hadn't posted a picture yet!
My fiance got to see me smile without a piece of metal in my mouth or braces on my teeth for the first time!

Can you tell I'm a little excited!!!

House Pictures!!!

Brian and I were finally able to get into our house after the inspection and really take some pictures and measurements.

And please note - we will be changing every single wall color because it is way too bright for our taste!

(Please excuse me in the pictures, I had just run 4 miles)

ENJOY!!

VACATION!

I will be off from work Thursday & Friday and I cannot wait!

2 full days of sleeping in, relaxation, working out, enjoying the beautiful weather in KC...

Oh, and watching BASKETBALL!

Brian's friends "go back to college" once a year and its always the weekend that starts the NCAA Tournament.

Get a keg, grill out all day, watch Bball and just chill.  It's a ton of fun!!  They even print off a giant bracket and hang it on the wall.  3-4 TV's throughout the house, one is always outside.

There will be pictures from the weekend.  I'm just giving you a little sneak peak!

Saturday, March 10

I'm a big kid now!

Brian and I made a big purchase this past week!

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!

I am officially a grown up...getting married in about 4 months, and now we have a place to call home.

We will move in around the first of June...have some time to paint the place because we don't have to be out of our current apartment until the end of July.  And get moved in before the wedding.

For the first time in my life I will not have APT xxx after the address.  I will actually OWN A HOME!

Woop woop!!!

Once we take pictures of the house I will post, but for right now here is a picture of the outside of the house.

REBEL!

Have I mentioned how great my fiance is recently?!?!?!?!

Well, if I haven't he is pretty spectacular!

I came home from work and working out yesterday and  he was making dinner.  Taco Salads.

He pulled me in for a hug and told me to look under the sweatshirt on the dining room chair....

CANON REBEL CAMERA IS WHAT I FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have wanted a camera like this for about 2 years now.  It is my dream to one day own my own photography business but I knew I had to start somewhere...and a DSLR camera was where I wanted to start.

Also - the other night I asked him about buying a camera for all of the wedding festivities coming up.

His response "Well, we are trying to buy a house, we probably shouldn't put it on the NFM card right now."  I was sad, but obviously understood so I let it go.

Well...he had this up his sleeve!  I am sooo excited.  Be ready for some posts of me experimenting with my new camera!
