Uhhh

As you can see, I have changed my blog design once again.

I'm just not ok with my heading, and I'm having a hard time finding ways to be creative with it.  I just need to take more time, or spend some money to get it the way I want it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate!!

So for right now this blog is under construction until I'm happy with it.  Sorry folks!!

Hopefully I'll have time to get it done this weekend!

Lake Weekend!!!!

This is sort of a tribute to old lake days back in college.

I have a feeling this weekend won't be as wild and crazy, more relaxing and full of sun-bathing, but still just as fun!!

My best friend is coming back from Hot-Lanta with her fiance for another friend's wedding.  Instead of staying in "good 'ol Topeka" we are staying at her family's lake house at Lake Wabunse!!!  Small lake in the middle of no-where Kansas, but oh so much fun!

This will also be Mr. KU's first experience!

And I know I still have pics stories to post about our stay at the BnB last weekend, it will come, I promise!

Happy weekend to everyone!!

Whhheewwww

WOW, the past few days at work have been a world-wind of small events/projects/to do's/complete randomness!

My head is kinda spinning and in order for me to get grounded and re-focused I had to take a second to look at something other than small tiny numbers on my computer!

This is kinda what I have been feeling!

Tonight, Mr. KU and I are headed to the gym and then to this Mexican place I want him to try - Esquina!!!

I talked about it a few posts ago.

DELICIOUS!!!

We had an AMAZING trip to NYC!  We were able to do a little site seeing, but most of all, got to spend a TON of time with my family!!!

Lots of grandma time, hanging out with my aunt and her new HUSBAND!!  The reason for the trip was my aunt's wedding, but we went East a few days early so Brian cold experience NYC.  Here's a ton of pics from the trip!  Enjoy.

One Heckeva Morning

I forgot to post this before my vacation - but this happened the Monday before we left for NYC.

Monday mornings I get up at 5am, early start I know...but I have to be at work by 6:30am.  I got up as usual, was letting the dog out and as I walked over to my car to head home (I was at Mr. KU's house)...what did I see????

a PERSON sleeping in the back seat!!!!!!!!

I kinda freaked out, ran back inside, not sure of what to do.  Mr. KU said to call 911 so I did that.  The cops came and got the guy out, asked him a few questions - he was completely hammered drunk!  Had no clue where he was, thought it was his car (which was a Sun Fire apparently)>  Well I drive a Nissan Sentra = NO SUN FIRE

The cops ask me a few questions - 1.) Do I know this person?  2.) Did he have permission to be in my car?.  Etc.

Obviously my answer was no....

So the cop comes back over after they put him in the cop car; they are going to take the guy in for criminal trespassing. Mr Cop also asks me if I'm going to clean my car, my OBVIOUS answer is yes, and he says good, because he thinks the guy pissed in my car.

UHHHHHHHHHH  SOOOOO GROSS!!!!!!!!!

Mind you, he only was wearing basketball shorts, no shirt and some sort of hat.  I believe his shirt was hanging over the dumpster (or at least I thought that's what I saw when I was finally able to leave).
